We have today announced the appointment of Nicole Anderson as our new Venture Partner, based out of London.

Nicole, the first international appointment for 1835i, will be focused on driving conversations and connections across the UK, EMEA and Israel.

Following a 15 year career in executive leadership roles in a variety of global technology companies, Nicole has spent the last 10 years as a venture capital investor, venture builder and entrepreneur in Fintech, Sustainability and Energy. She is an active board member and advisor in Fintech and has achieved a number of accolades, including ‘Top 100 Women in FINTECH’ and ‘Power Women in FINTECH’ (UK, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018).

Justin Greenstein, our Chief Executive Officer, said that Nicole’s appointment is a great opportunity for 1835i to explore markets that are rich in terms of ideas, founders and entrepreneurs.

“1835i’s mandate is to connect ANZ Bank, one of the world’s top 50 Banks, with the best and brightest in fintech. We see Nicole joining us as a strong step in finding those further afield who are doing exciting things in our areas of focus.”

Nicole notes that she is proud to be joining the firm at this stage of its history and helping to expand its footprint into new markets.

“I feel fortunate to be trusted to do this role, as I believe that the investment in an international role for 1835i is a very powerful statement to the market that we are very serious about actually being ahead and being on the front foot. I’m looking forward to working with the team at 1835i to find those businesses that are transforming financial services and beyond.”
